On March 20th at 5:36am (ET) we will be having a total Solar Eclipse in Pisces on the same day as the Equinox. It will be visible from Greenland, Iceland, most of Europe, and parts of Asia and Northern Africa. In astrology, solar eclipses create changes and new beginnings in our lives. It is a super-charged New Moon whose effects are more impactful and last beyond the month of its moon cycle. The effects are usually noticed or felt more in the weeks leading up to it, on the day of, and in the weeks following. However, the themes of the eclipse are still very much prevalent for the following 6 (or more) months. We usually have 2 of them per year but can have up to 3 in some years. Depending on your specific day and time of birth, the eclipses influence different areas of your life unique to you. They also affect us as a collective and sometimes correlate with major global events. For example, around the time of our last Solar Eclipse in late October, there were terrorist attacks (potentially false flag) in Ottawa, Canada. The astrological position of that eclipse shows that it had an effect on Canada’s Constitution andCharter of Rights and Freedoms. So now in the months following, the Canadian government has introduced a new anti-terror bill (Bill C-51), which is seen as an abolishment of the Charter, as it violates many of the rights and freedoms listed therein.
This Solar Eclipse is 13 Hours Before the Spring Equinox!
The spring Equinox is not only the beginning of spring, but also where the astrological tropical zodiac ends and begins, transitioning from Pisces to Aries. The exact time of the Equinox is at 6:45pm (ET), which is roughly 13 hours after the Solar Eclipse. This is very interesting because Solar Eclipses and Equinoxes are associated with ‘new beginnings,’ yet the actual moment of the Eclipse happens at the tail end of the entire Zodiac in late Pisces. This is associated with ‘permanent endings’ and ‘crisis.’ So we can expect these themes to affect us in a powerful way not only in this upcoming month, but throughout much of 2015 as well. For some people it can also be viewed as a new beginning for certain things they have been trying to end, or just simply need to end, resulting in a permanent ending.
Metaphorically, this eclipse is like turning the water valve on a pressure washer… which will wash away whatever it needs to… over the next 6 months!
This Eclipse and The Collective
On March 11th, 2011, Uranus (the planet of surprises and sudden disasters) was in its last hours in Pisces when the Earthquake-Tsunami happened in the Pacific Ocean which hit Fukushima. In Astrology the oceans are associated with Pisces. The unfortunate aftermath of Fukushima has led to global outrage and has inspired some of humanity to push towards seeking more sustainable and clean energy practices. This Solar Eclipse is near the same position where Uranus was at that time, and it is possible that we could again see the occurrence of critical events or circumstances related to the oceans, or perhaps even related to Fukushima. Whether or not it does manifest in that way, ultimately the theme here is about circumstances that help to push us towards a new reality. In my last Full Moon article, I mentioned that the last 2.5 years have been a time of ‘pressure for change.’ Global protests, uprisings, increased activism, political reforms, countries going bankrupt, and the growth of new currencies are some of the themes reflecting this time of upheaval, and we can attribute this trend to the tension between Uranus and Pluto right now, due to their astrological positions. Earlier in the same week as this eclipse, these two planets made their final ‘square off’ which will carry their themes into this upcoming 6 month period. The difference between now and the last 2.5 years is that there is greater potential for significant changes.
This Eclipse and The Individual
As mentioned above, this is a time for great change, but ultimately this is an opportunity to wash away negative aspects of yourself which do not reflect who you truly are. It can be a time to escape from a self-imposed prison, which could consist of negative patterns, habits, addictions, lifestyle, etc. Saturn and Jupiter in relation to this eclipse suggest finding and connecting with your inner truth and eventually unleashing it. This theme can apply to different areas of everyone’s lives. This eclipse will affect some people more strongly than others and it can apply to different areas of everyone’s lives depending on how it influences one’s natal chart.
The Spice That Prevents Fluoride From Destroying Your Brain
The Mind Unleashed
on 24 April, 2014 at 00:19
Fluoride is found everywhere today, from antibiotics to drinking water, no stick pans to toothpaste, making exposure inevitable. All the more reason why new research proving this common spice can prevent fluoride damage is so promising!
Fluoride’s neurotoxicity has been the subject of academic debate for decades, and now a matter of increasingly impassioned controversy among the general public, as well. From ‘conspiracy theories’ about it being first used in drinking water in Russian and Nazi concentration camps to chemically lobotomize captives, to its now well-known IQ lowering properties, to its ability to enhance the calcification of the pineal gland – the traditional ‘seat of the soul’ – many around the world, and increasingly in the heavily fluoridated regions of the United States, are starting to organize at the local and statewide level to oust this ubiquitous toxicant from municipal drinking water.
Now, a new study published in the Pharmacognosy Magazine titled, “Curcumin attenuates neurotoxicity induced by fluoride: An in vivo evidence,” adds experimental support to the suspicion that fluoride is indeed a brain-damaging substance, also revealing that a natural spice-derived protective agent against the various health effects associated with this compound is available.
The study was authored by researchers from the Department of Zoology, University College of Science, M.L. Sukhadia University, Udaipur, India, who have spent the past decade investigating the mechanisms through which fluoride induces severe neurodegenerative changes in the mammalian brain, particularly in cells of the hippocampus and cerebral cortex.[i] [ii]
The study opens by describing the historical backdrop for concern about fluoride’s significant and wide ranging toxicity:
“Fluoride (F) is probably the first inorganic ion which drew attention of the scientific world for its toxic effects and now the F toxicity through drinking water is well-recognized as a global problem. Health effect reports on F exposure also include various cancers, adverse reproductive activities, cardiovascular, and neurological diseases.[1,2]“
The study focused on fluoride induced neurotoxicity, identifying excitoxicity (stimulation of the neuron to the point of death) and oxidative stress as the two main drivers of neurodegeneration. It has been observed that subjects with the condition known as fluorosis, a mottling of tooth enamel caused by excessive exposure to fluoride during tooth development, also have neurodegenerative changes associated with a form of oxidative stress known as lipid peroxidation (rancidity). Excess lipid peroxidation in the brain can lead to a decrease in total brain phospholipid content. Owing to these well-known mechanisms of fluoride associated neurotoxicity and neurodegeneration, the researchers identified the primary polyphenol in the spice turmeric — known as curcumin – as an ideal agent worth testing as a neuroprotective substance. Previous research on curcumin indicates that it is capable of activing as an antioxidant in 3 distinct ways by protecting against: 1) singlet oxygen 2) hyrodxyl radicals and 3) superoxide radical damage. Also, curcumin appears to raise endogenous glutathione production in the brain, a major antioxidant defense system.
In order to assess the neurotoxic effects of fluoride and prove curcumin’s protective role against it, researchers randomly divided up mice into four groups, for 30 days:
Control (no fluoride)
Fluoride (120 ppm): fluoride was given in distilled water drinking water without restriction.
Fluoride (120 ppm/30 mg/kg body weight) + Curcumin: Oral dose of curcumin dissolved in olive oil along with fluoride in drinking water
Curcumin: (30 mg/kg body weight)
In order to ascertain the effect of treatment, the researchers measured the malondialdehyde (MDA) content in the brains of the different treated mice. MDA is a well-known marker of oxidative stress/damage.
As was expected, the fluoride (F) only treatment group showed significantly elevated MDA levels vs. the non-fluoride treated control. The F + Curcumin group saw reduced MDA levels vs. the fluoride only group, demonstrating curcumin’s neuroprotective activity against fluoride associated neurotoxicity.
The study concluded,
“Our study thus demonstrate that daily single dose of 120 ppm F result in highly significant increases in the LPO [lipid peroxidation, i.e. brain rancidity] as well as neurodegenerative changes in neuron cell bodies of selected hippocampal regions. Supplementation with curcumin significantly reduce the toxic effect of F to near normal level by augmenting the antioxidant defense through its scavenging property and provide an evidence of having therapeutic role against oxidative stress mediated neurodegeneration.”
This is far from the first study to demonstrate curcumin’s remarkable brain-saving properties. From the perspective of the primary research alone, there are over two hundred peer-reviewed published studies indicating that curcumin is a neuroprotective agent. On our own turmeric database we have 115 articles proving this statement: Turmeric Protects The Brain. We have also featured studies on turmeric’s ability to protect and restore the brain:

Considering the many chemical insults we face on a daily basis in the post-industrial world, turmeric may very well be the world’s most important herb, with over 600 evidence-based health applications.
Cleaning up the Pineal Gland is useful for those wishing to develop their multidimensional perception.
The Pineal gland will naturally make its own DMT when fully operational and we will be able to remain in a visionary state most of the time.
An awakened pineal gland brings the ability to consciously astral travel, explore other dimensions, foresee the future and receive communications from loving dimensional beings.
DMT is a component of Ayahuasca – a plant medicine from the Amazon that brings profound physical and heart healing through its purgative effects and the perception of other dimensions.
Those that use this medicine go into a period of “work” where issues come into awareness and can be healed with the insights that come from DMT consciousness.
The advantage of cleaning up our pineal gland so it makes its own DMT is that we can be in a continuous state of spiritual “work” and we are spared the purgative effects of drinking the ayahuasca.
Thus we no longer need any medicines as an adjunct to our spiritual lives. DMT is a totally natural substance that the human body will manufacture and distribute when it is in a healed state.
Thus it would appear human beings were intended to be visionary beings and be able to tap into the information in other dimensions. This dimensional perception transcends the ego and rapidly heals our sufferings, conflicts and thus karmas.
Here are some basics for pineal detox:
1. Mercury - this is really bad for the pineal gland. It’s poison. Don’t let this get into your body. Mercury tooth fillings are pineal toxins. Have them removed. All medical vaccines are also mercury tainted. Thimersal (a vaccine preservative) is methyl mercury and is very difficult to get out of the brain once it’s in there. Avoid eating fish and bottom feeders such as shrimps and prawns. Tuna and dolphin meat is particularly bad for mercury – the bigger the fish the higher the concentration of mercury in its body tissue.
Eco light bulbs – if one is smashed mercury vapour is released into the room and inhaled. Avoid at all costs breaking one indoors.
Mercury can be removed from the body by the daily use of chlorella, wheatgrass and spirulina. Cilantro herb taken daily can help remove mercury from brain tissue.
2. Fluoride - in toothpastes and tap water. It’s another heavy duty poison. Avoid it at all costs. It calcifies the pineal tissue and basically shuts the gland down.
3. Organic foods - some pesticides are pineal toxins. Organic healthy food with a high ratio of raw is supportive to pineal detox. Meat is not helpful either. Some people who channel seem to not be affected but for many the toxicity and density of meat will pose challenges and we want to make the work easy if we can.
4. Alcohol + smoking - Naturally these need to go along with the emotional attachments to using them (usually boils down to self worth issues or unresolved trauma).
5. Heart Healing - raises the overal vibration of the being and heals fear – a useful advantage for when we start seeing other dimensions.
6. Other toxins - if something is toxic do not put it in your body. If you can’t say it’s name, is most likely bad. Toxins include artificial sweeteners (aspartame K) , refined sugar, phylenanine (in squashes), E numbers beginning with 1, deodorants, cleaning chemicals, dental mouthwashes (saltwater is suffice) and air fresheners.
7. Raw chocolate - Raw cacao is a pineal gland stimulant / detoxifier in high doses because of the high antioxidant content.
Being disciplined with steps 1-6 for a year or so will certainly bring about pineal awakening. Step 7 is optional but very useful too.
The Shamanic View of Mental Illness
In the shamanic view, mental illness signals “the birth of a healer,” explains Malidoma Patrice Somé. Thus, mental disorders are spiritual emergencies, spiritual crises, and need to be regarded as such to aid the healer in being born.
What those in the West view as mental illness, the Dagara people regard as “good news from the other world.” The person going through the crisis has been chosen as a medium for a message to the community that needs to be communicated from the spirit realm. “Mental disorder, behavioral disorder of all kinds, signal the fact that two obviously incompatible energies have merged into the same field,” says Dr. Somé. These disturbances result when the person does not get assistance in dealing with the presence of the energy from the spirit realm.
One of the things Dr. Somé encountered when he first came to the United States in 1980 for graduate study was how this country deals with mental illness. When a fellow student was sent to a mental institute due to “nervous depression,” Dr. Somé went to visit him.
“I was so shocked. That was the first time I was brought face to face with what is done here to people exhibiting the same symptoms I’ve seen in my village.” What struck Dr. Somé was that the attention given to such symptoms was based on pathology, on the idea that the condition is something that needs to stop. This was in complete opposition to the way his culture views such a situation. As he looked around the stark ward at the patients, some in straitjackets, some zoned out on medications, others screaming, he observed to himself, “So this is how the healers who are attempting to be born are treated in this culture. What a loss! What a loss that a person who is finally being aligned with a power from the other world is just being wasted.”
Another way to say this, which may make more sense to the Western mind, is that we in the West are not trained in how to deal or even taught to acknowledge the existence of psychic phenomena, the spiritual world. In fact, psychic abilities are denigrated. When energies from the spiritual world emerge in a Western psyche, that individual is completely unequipped to integrate them or even recognize what is happening. The result can be terrifying. Without the proper context for and assistance in dealing with the breakthrough from another level of reality, for all practical purposes, the person is insane. Heavy dosing with anti-psychotic drugs compounds the problem and prevents the integration that could lead to soul development and growth in the individual who has received these energies.
On the mental ward, Dr Somé saw a lot of “beings” hanging around the patients, “entities” that are invisible to most people but that shamans and psychics are able to see. “They were causing the crisis in these people,” he says. It appeared to him that these beings were trying to get the medications and their effects out of the bodies of the people the beings were trying to merge with, and were increasing the patients’ pain in the process. “The beings were acting almost like some kind of excavator in the energy field of people. They were really fierce about that. The people they were doing that to were just screaming and yelling,” he said. He couldn’t stay in that environment and had to leave.
In the Dagara tradition, the community helps the person reconcile the energies of both worlds–”the world of the spirit that he or she is merged with, and the village and community.” That person is able then to serve as a bridge between the worlds and help the living with information and healing they need. Thus, the spiritual crisis ends with the birth of another healer. “The other world’s relationship with our world is one of sponsorship,” Dr. Somé explains. “More often than not, the knowledge and skills that arise from this kind of merger are a knowledge or a skill that is provided directly from the other world.”
The beings who were increasing the pain of the inmates on the mental hospital ward were actually attempting to merge with the inmates in order to get messages through to this world. The people they had chosen to merge with were getting no assistance in learning how to be a bridge between the worlds and the beings’ attempts to merge were thwarted. The result was the sustaining of the initial disorder of energy and the aborting of the birth of a healer.
“The Western culture has consistently ignored the birth of the healer,” states Dr. Somé. “Consequently, there will be a tendency from the other world to keep trying as many people as possible in an attempt to get somebody’s attention. They have to try harder.” The spirits are drawn to people whose senses have not been anesthetized. “The sensitivity is pretty much read as an invitation to come in,” he notes.
Those who develop so-called mental disorders are those who are sensitive, which is viewed in Western culture as oversensitivity. Indigenous cultures don’t see it that way and, as a result, sensitive people don’t experience themselves as overly sensitive. In the West, “it is the overload of the culture they’re in that is just wrecking them,” observes Dr. Somé. The frenetic pace, the bombardment of the senses, and the violent energy that characterize Western culture can overwhelm sensitive people.
